UGANDA

THE VIA FAMILY

Over a year and a half ago the Via family began the process of bringing Chloe home from Uganda. In December 2012 the U.S. government denied Chloe a VISA, however, by Ugandan law, the Via’s were already legally her family. Kelly and Smooth Via could not abandon their daughter, so they began the process of moving their family to Uganda for three years until they can reapply for a VISA. READ MORE >>

THE RICHARDS FAMILY

If I’m going to be completely honest, when I first heard about the Richards family I felt uncomfortable.  Keith and Salem Richards have adopted three children from Uganda; Mayer, Benjamin, and Jovia.  Their son Benjamin has a long list of physical and mental problems and their daughter Jovia was born with no arms or legs.  Maybe now you are having the same initial feeling that I felt.  READ MORE >>

THE ROGERS FAMILY

There is a spirit of contentment that you just canʼt fake. You can always tell when someone is trying to impress you and when someone is truly rooted in peace. Itʼs momentarily effortless, yet you know itʼs taken years of submission and prayer. When we stepped out of the car and onto the Rogersʼ sidewalk, I felt it. Peace. As we approached the house, the sun beamed through the tree branches and cast a soft, playful light while the Spirit of the Lord settled in over our hearts. I knew this was going to be special. READ MORE >>

THE STEWART FAMILY

This is the 9th trip for the Stewart family. They began their adoption back in 2010 and have traveled to Haiti every 3 months to spend one week with their son. Families from all over the country, with children in the same orphanage, have been on a similar journey as the Stewart’s for the past 2-3 years. A bond has been formed. They have shared life giving joy and gut wrenching pain together.  READ MORE >>

THE IVEY FAMILY

We had the wonderful joy of hanging out with the Ivey family last week. Our time together was simple and sweet; hanging out in their quaint house and backyard, asking questions and watching their family interact. We learned about their call towards adoption and heard encouraging words of wisdom about what to do when someone is interested in adoption. READ MORE >>

THE EICHER FAMILY

The Eicher family adopted Archie, the namesake of The Archibald Project, in August of 2011. We traveled with Joey, the father, from Houston, TX to Kazanlak, Bulgaria. Archie has Down Syndrome and was chosen to be the Eicher’s son from no merit of his own. They were called to him and they chose to love him. READ MORE >>

THE JONES FAMILY

In December of 2011, Bill and Kelli Jones heard about a 13 year old, orphan girl looking for a family. She recently learned that if she was not adopted by her 14th birthday, only 3 months away, she could never be adopted. She emailed friends, who previously were adopted, asking for help. Bill and Kelli prayed for 2 days and then committed to adopting this young girl. Everyone told them it couldn’t be done. READ MORE >>

TAIWAN

THE DINGLE FAMILY

Shannon and Lee Dingle were escorted from the domestic airport in Taitung to a local hospital the day they arrived in country. They were lead to a prayer room and told to wait. A few moments later, which seemed like a lifetime for them, in walked the newest addition to their sweet family of five. This is the moment that parents fantasize about; the moment they first touch and see their new child. READ MORE >>
